Little Girl Says.

Here is the first of a couple of impending diy jobs that I have lined up in the next few days, it was essentially a very simple operation however it is a working progress. What I did was I printed the images onto some t-shirt transfer paper, ironed it onto a plain white tee, and then went at the tee with some scissors! The most complicated part was/is the shredding at the bottom, which I plan on carying up the shirt as a panel however at the moment its only in the begining stage so I'll probably pop a photo up when I've got the shredded part nice and large! With this shirt I'm trying to make it a bit holey and motheaten looking like something you found at the back of your guy friends wardrobe when you were on your way to the skate park! i.e. very ksubi-esque because I didn't get to go to the Brisbane Ksubi sale myself! Grrrr. Despite my feeling sorry for myself, I thought an appropriate name for this shirt would be, Little Girl Says.

What would we do without 'inspiration'?

You may remember me lusting after a certain pair of ray ban clubmasters and I am very excited to tell you all that just a couple of weeks ago I found these copies made by Lespecs. Needless to say I was ecstatic when I spotted them and was then even more in love when I found that there was 40% off! Dreams really do come true sometimes. Another great accessory which I recieved yesterday was this fantastic Hermes -copy- wallet which two of my besties brought back from NYC! That was a really great suprise after being able to see them after about six weeks. So what I would like to know is if anyone else has any recently acquired in their holiday purchases something that looks suspicially like another more expensively priced item?

Back in Action

Here we are again, only now I have my laptop back up in tip top shape and the internet is super duper fast, which means only one thing. POSTS GALORE! Yay! This is also true due to the extremely crazy flooding in fiji which I was meant to be going to on thursday! Yes you can bet that I am extremely pissed since just three weeks ago I was booked to see Thailand and that means all airfares/accomodation/travel insurance/summer holiday clothes all set and paid for x2. Actually now that I think of it, pissed is kind of the understatement of the year! But back to the point, everyone can now expect a considerably frequent flow of musings for the impending getaway free future. So instead of packing for Fiji I have spent the last three or so hours scouring Topshop and the like, in search of some items that I can get my friends-who are in England and Italy at the moment- to purchase for me due to there catastrophe free international endevours into the fashion capitals of the world!!!

What am I talking about, I'm not bitter at all?

Just a quick update on why there has been a shortage of posts lately with the reason being that my internet has been playing up of recent which therefore prevents me from making awesome posts! However when the internet is fixed I will be making a few changes which will be the catalyst to a much more frequent and continuous stream of posts as I have been saving up a lot of material for you guys!!
