Nails New Shape ! ...Pyramid Inspired :)

Eversince Oxane showed me the pyramid inspired nails which started in Ukraine, I've been smitten and fascinated by its sexy appearance. To me it's nail architecture. I couldn't wait to try out creating this set on Diane and she's the first in Singapore, or dare I say in Southeast Asia to wear these pyramid nails ! This shape is a perfect combination between the traditional square and the sexy stilletos, it's strong, durable and contemporary. Definitely a hit in 2009 !

Teen Vogue here I come! Alexander Wang Backpack

I just thought I'd tell you all that I was offered a place in the bachelor of Journalism at the University of Queensland and so I guess you could say that I'm on top of the world at the moment filled with such excitement however that would probably be the biggest understatement of the year! So now over the past few days I've been stocking up on more clothes because now that I'm a -wait for it- uni student, that means no more school uniforms! I really really want this Alexander Wang backpack as it would be perfect for carrying my books around but I have a feeling that it comes with a hefty price tag and my mum already bought me beautiful and expensive soft leather bag from witchery despite there probably not being anywhere near enough room for text books! Anyway that's all I had to say today as I'm going to a friends and then onto another friend's 18th party so I'll just let you all know before I leave that in the not too distant future you can expect to see my face next to these lovely ladies from Teen Vogue-ok maybe I've got a while yet but hey I'm way closer than I was before!!

The latest issue of French Vogue is dedicated to the uber-successful dutch model, Lara Stone. Stone often recognised by the gap between her front teeth and her wobbly runway walk is a model sensation with numerous lucrative campaigns under her slim waistline and opens and closes for the most prestigious of designers, it's no wonder why French Vogue's Editor-in-Chief, Carine Roitfeld has decided to contribute a whole issue to the model. Stone's appeal stems not only from her unreadable 'stone cold' glare on the catwalk but the model also sports a rather unexpected rebelious side. Lara was expelled from her high school at age 16 and sent away to Paris, she is also not afraid to get her kit off for a good photo as demonstrated in the above images and the September issue of W magazine where she can be seen frolicking in her nakedness under a hose sporting a mascot rabbit's head. These attributes are often uncommon in a model with many turning down requests for them to do a shoot nude however with Stone's fresh confidence and insouciant nature it is only natural for one of the biggest names in the business to say of Lara, “Sometimes a girl just touches you,”.

ONS Global Cup 3 in Seoul Jan 10 & 11

ONS Global Cup 3 in Seoul recently brought competitors from more than 10 countries together with more than 1036 registrants. We had a fantastic time and so many memorable experience. I am also overwhelmed that our team improved in all technical aspects during this trip and they have raised several bars in the standards of the nails they create. My mixed media entry won 1st place in the professional division.

Just a few polaroids of my new favourite things, Revlon Lipstick in Orchid Beach, matching hot pink nail polish and Diva Diamonte Cougar ring - cartier style. This ring is just amazing and as soon as I saw it I knew that it was mine, not only is it beautiful but it also works as a stylish knuckle duster along side my line up of other rings that are usually piled on! I've also found lately that it works as a fantastic conversation starter at parties, so in other words it really is a multi-functional investment!
