Design Sculptured Nails Spring 2010

This entry placed 1st in veteran for Design Sculptured (Flowers Theme) at the IBS Las Vegas, at the last minute I hooked up with my hand model who happens to be a nail student finishing her natural nailcare training. I was told recently by her teacher that this experience motivated her to pursue further to study nail enhancement. I'm so glad for her ! 

These were demo nails done at the booth in April and she later had them filled and shorten

 and just had it removed when I saw her recently in June !

HotRods entry for Mixed Media placed veteran 3rd Place. I'm so sad that I lost one of  my favourite tip with the beer glass because the liquid inside the glass moves...I'll just have to make one more, but it will never be the same :(

What does Hershey and Nails have in common ?

.....they took my breath away! The world of Hershey chocolates is huge that they have a town named after it, a convention centre, theme park, hotel, school, factory and even Hershey chocolate martini! In the bedrooms, Hershey's kisses welcomes each guest and also served as after dinner sweets. It's also here at the Hershey convention centre in Pennsylvania that 2500 cosmetology students gathered for a great event of shows, competition and classes. I admire these upcoming talents and their dedicated educators and feel greatly honored to spend a few days with such wonderful people. Another memorable part of the event was being able to see the amazing hair maestro Nick Arojo in action! He made me wanna do hair! LOL...that's the power of inspiration...

Roses Inlay^

customer chose 2 shades of lovely blue and red (:

Inlays are nail art embedded within the nail extensions itself.

The finished nails will have a smooth surface and its amazing to see how a nail art can be seen within the nail itself!
