MBFF Here I come!!!!

As the title suggests, yes, I am going to the Mercedes Benz Brisbane Fashion Festival which runs from the 24th to the 29th of August, and am sooooooo v v v v excited! Well, technically I'm only going to one show but it's my first fashion show EVER and am so pumped. Seriously you could not even begin to wonder how ecstatic I am about this! But my excitement level probably isn't all that interesting for you guys so I'll tell you that I will be attending the first group show which will include garments from the likes of Nicola Finetti, See by Chloe, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Camilla and Marc, Josh Goot and Marnie Skillings. Are you drooling yet because if not there's something seriously wrong with you! Anyway I can't wait to go with my best friends who will all be looking fantastic just like me!

S.A.A favourite Miranda Kerr is officially back in town -that is if you call Sydney,Australia home- for a number of events predominantly that of the 2008 Rosemount Australian Fashion Week. But before the shows got underway Miranda was spotted at Sydney's Randwick Racecourse on Saturday for her first public debut with boyfriend, Orlando Bloom. Ms Kerr was said to be wearing black Collete Dinnigan, a Prada Clutch and matching Yves Saint Lauren shoes and hat.

But once the shows began today, it was off with Orlando and on with Kirrily Johnston as Miranda was seen up front and centre at RAFW's first show today. Other shows featuring today were Hotel Bondi Swim, the product of designer duo Damion Fuller and Fern Levack which debuted today to a crowd of hype with its hippie prints, laid back local Bondi values and prominant, shinning knuckle dusters! Described by the duo as being designed for the 'bondi boat ramp girl' (Vogue.com.au) ; that being '...Australian, Japanese, Brazilian, English, freckled, tanned, pale, long haired, short haired and happy' (Vogue.com.au). Which is obviously quite the eclectic silhouette and not the stereotypical blonde hair, brown skinned Bondi girl.

With Nicola Finetti, One Teaspoon, Wayne Cooper and Lee Mathews done and gone that leaves tomorrows big shows, which are; Camilla & Marc, Lisa Ho, Zimmerman, Silence is Golden, Life with Bird, Kate Sylvester and the big one that everyones been waiting for, Alex Perry!
