Jump me. I'm a jumpsuit!

Here are a couple more, fabulously executed jumpsuits, just for your viewing pleasure (and as proof that I am not delirious, there really is a movement happening!).

Chictopia -The Homemade Sartorialist

(Doesn't this girl just remind you of Irina lazareanu-btw it isn't!)

Lulu:Chictopia Creator
(All photo's from Chictopia Girls)
For those of you who have not yet been clued in on this fantastic site here is a treat from me to you. No, I lie it actually came from a friend, S, who spotted it before I did and was lovely enough to share the secret with me! So for those of you in the know by now you should have heard about the newish web site called, 'Chictopia'. This site is like a mix of The Sartorialist (www.thesartorialist.com) and Myspace, where überstylish people (like those who read this blog) can upload photos of their favourite outfits and then write down where they got them from and anything else important to that photo like where and when it was taken. But that's not even the best bit the best is where you can go a vote for whoever you think is most chic, in a ranking of: chic, good, ok, doubtful, not. I mean they probably could have come up with some more creative ranks like: Chic, Straight off Kate's (Moss) Ass, Only cause you're pretty, Maybe if I was wasted? and Hell to the No or My grandpa does better.

But that's just what I think otherwise this little beauty is practically the best thing since Myspace (until we all got over it) so hop on and tell me what you think! Oh and props to miss S for her great reference!

Love Always xoxo

Anna Della Russo - My new style icon

Photo:Scott Schuman
Continuing on from my last blog which was primarily focused on the April edition of Australian Vogue; there was a two page picture feature devoted to the honorary Anna Della Russo. I have seen many pictures of her captured by Scott Schuman for his blog The Sartorialist (thesartorialist.blogspot.com -an important blog on any fashionista's list) before but never actually known who she was and all the whilst adoring admiring and coveting her sense of style and fashion wardrobe (only to find out she has an allowance given to her just for clothing!). Of course I could gather that she was someone important in the fashion world maybe and editor or something...and I was right.
But what really struck a cord with me was the amazing way she pulled off young 20-30yr old women's fashion as though it was designed for a 40yr old mature woman; her eclectic mix of tailored work wear(ahem MaxMara) and funky short hemmed Balmain dresses combine to make a wardrobe envied by any self proclaimed fashion addict and a presence only emitted by a true style icon.
All this and she's only 40!Though it must be mentioned that she has the figure of a 20 something yr old model and the constant side swept glossy hair of a new born. Because of these things I must say that Anna Della Russo is my current style muse and as long as Mr Schuman can continue to create inspiring pictures of this Italian stylist and former editor she will continue to inspire a generation of women to come.

love always xoxo
