NOTD - Aldo Circus Elephant

Just a quick NOTD from me today. This is a very light milky purple colour. I got this when buying a handbag in Aldo, I was waiting to pay at the counter and saw this sitting there and I just had to have it. 
It isn't the best to apply it can be a bit streaky. It's one of those polishes that you need a lot of time to apply as you have to be really careful for it not to look streaky. So unfortunately I don't wear this as much as I like which is a shame as I love the colour. On the plus side it is opaque in two coats, which I find very rare for such a light colour.

Sally Hansen Commander In Chic - NOTD

If you read yesterday's post you would have seen that I got this beautiful polish, I was so excited to use it I had to paint my nails last night. I thought I would share a picture of it applied so you could see.

This is two coats, it was an absolute dream to apply. The brush is really thick and coats most of the nail in one go. Also the formula was so smooth, there was no streaking. I will defiantly be picking some more up. The Sally Hansen range is available at Boots.

Starting with a haul

So, I'm jumping on the beauty blog bandwagon. I have been reading blogs and watching youtube videos for years now, and I've finally plucked up the courage to join in....

Some friends and i went to Portsmouth today to do some shopping, see some boats and have a general stroll around. (We also saw some hot navy men).
The shopping center there has a CCO, which i always get far to excited about going to. i picked up a few mac items and thought i would share.

I picked up two brushes, MAC 130 and MAC 227. I have wanted these for a while but have never got round to getting them. As they were less expensive than they would be in a mac store i had to pick them up. The 130 was £21 and the 227 was £15.75.
I also got penny shadestick, which is light coppery colour, and calm mode lip conditioner. The lip conditioner was from the charm pale collection but it never seemed to make it to my local mac store. I am very glad i found it.
