L'Oreal Renewal Lash Serum Review

 

The Renewal Lash Serum is one of the many lash growing serums out there. I chose to try this one as its budget friendly at £11.29. You can find it here

Developed by L'Oréal laboratories following 3 years of lash research, the Renewal Lash Serum has an intensive formula enriched with Arginine and Centella. Lashes feel fortified and nourished.

The professional applicator is designed with a rounded end to treat the lash line whilst the curved edge is tailored to coat the length of the lashes from root to tip.

 

 

Ive been using this product for a few months now, and its fantastic. When I first started using it I was a bit lazy and just used it at random and kept forgetting to put it on. I only apply it at night as i find it makes my mascara too clumpy looking if i use it underneath. After a week or so of just using it randomly i started to notice that my lashes look more fuller and healthier. This is when i decided to really make the effort and use this every night, and wow, how my lashes have grown. Unfortunately i do not have a before and after pictures, but take my word for it this makes your lashes longer, fuller and shiner. 

So if you are looking for something to help your lashes look longer and fuller i would defiantly give this a try,

GlossyBox and Recent Purchases

You have probably heard loads about GlossyBox already, so i am not going to go into too much detail. Basically you pay £10 a month and you get sent 5 Luxury sample size items of new products and unknown brands. For more info here's a link to the website GlossyBox

I was visiting friends and family last week, so i didn't actually get my box until yesterday. I had been keeping up with reading blog posts so i knew what was going to be in it. I was still very excited.
In the box came 5 products, A full size NARS Orgasm Illuminator 30ml, Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Rapid Repair Spray 25ml, Full size All For Eve Lipstick in Eve Red, COMO Shambhala Invigorate Body Lotion 50ml and Bionova Lab Bioactive Cleanser for normal/dry skin 4ml.

NARS was the only brand i had heard of before, so i was excited to try out the products and learn more about the brands.
My favorite product so far is the Alterna caviar repair spray. It smells AMAZING!
The NARS illuminator is defiantly the next favorite. Its a lovely peach shimmery shade and gives your cheeks a nice glow.
The body lotion is a bit to strong for me. So will probably just use it on my feet.
I'm not a lipstick girl, so was a little disappointed in the All For Eve Lipstick, but when I tried it on, it applied so smoothly and is such a lovely colour. I'm going to wear it around the house to start building my confidence. Then hopefully ill be brave enough to leave the house with bright red lips soon.
The only product i haven't tried yet is the cleanser. (Will probably try that tonight)
Overall I think the box is such good value for money and a good way to try products out that you wouldn't normally try. I'm already excited for next months box.

Whilst visiting friends and family last week i did a little bit of shopping. Debenhams had 10% off all beauty and fragrance, i was going to buy Benefits new eye cream, but as i was browsing the counter and the starter kit caught my eye, which has a miniature size of the whole skincare range in it. For £9 i decided to go for that instead.
I Also popped to MAC and picked up Mystery Eyeshadow (which had been on my list for ages) and Glided White Powerpoint Pencil from the Surf Baby collection. I thought this would be good to apply on the waterline to wake up my eyes on those days when I'm super tired.
I'm now officially broke after a week of eating out, shopping and enjoying myself. No more shopping for me for a while.

Blush - Nars Deep Throat and Benefit Bella Bamba.

Bronzer - Benefit Hoola and Nars Laguna.

Highlighter - Benefit High Beam.

Eyeshadow Base - Urban Decay Primer Potion and Mac Bare Study Paint Pot.

Eyeshadow - Mac Woodwinked, Mac Shroom, Mac Naked Lunch and Any of the colours from the Urban Decay Naked palette.

Eyeliner - L'Oréal Paris Super liner (A new love of mine)

Mascara - Makeup Forever Smokey Lash.

Lipgloss - Mac Cremesheen Glass Deelight. (I don't use many lip products)

Lip Balm - Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream

 The characters of Strawberry Shortcake and Friends came alive in the hands of the nailtechs who did a workshop with me which ended today. I cannot wait to share their talent with you here :)

My Favourtie Nail Polishes

Starting from left to right..... 

Sinfulcolors - Whats your name?

This is a black with green/purple glitter in it. It's definitely more of a winter colour. Its lovely to apply and opaque in two coats. 

Illamasqua - Purity

From the toxic nature collection, this is a light peachy colour. I had been looking for a colour like this for ages, and i was so happy i found this. It's a perfect summer colour. Easy to apply and lasts on the nails for ages. 

Nails inc - London

I got this when Diet coke did the first free nail varnish with two bottles of coke offer. I don't think i could describe this colour. Its lighter, slightly more purple colour than Chanel - Particuliere. (which is next to this one in the picture) This is one of my all time favorite nail polishes. I really wish i had a back up of it. I'm going to be upset when its gone. :(

Chanel - Particuliere

Every beauty lover has seen/owns this. I think its a very sophisticated colour, and one of those you could where at anytime with anything. 

17 - Parma Violet and Mint Choc Chip

I purchased these two last summer on a whim, and fell in love as soon as i applied them. They are both lovely summer colours. Parma Violet being a light purple/pink and Hot Choc Chip being a green, turquoise. When the sun starts shinning i grab for these.

Revlon - Blue Lagoon

One of my most recent nail polish purchases. This is a light blue with a slight shimmer/sparkle. I think i love looking at this in the bottle more than wearing it. (silly, i know) As like all revlon nail polishes, this is great to apply and lasts a long time. 

I'm on the quest to find a milky pink polish at the moment. Any excuse to buy more. Hehe.
