I Must Not Covet!

"You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's.' "

I dare you to say that in the face of these shoes! I dare you! Also if you want a copy of these shoes, you can pick up an OK-though-never-as-splendid-as-the-real-thing copy from who else but, Wittner.

BIG BIG BIG GEMMA WARD NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guess what, Guess what, GUESS WHAT!!! I am sooooo excited!!!!! Why? Because I just found out where Gemma disappeared to! I mean why else would I be this excited? Ok for Marni shoes I would be this excited but whatever because I have just found where THE GEMMA WARD disappeared to, from Bryan Boy! It appears that the reason no one knew where Ms. Ward was, was because she has been TREKKING IN NEPAL...as you do. Gemma apparently joined some trek group called, Annapurna Circuit Trek and I guess, went from there!

Pretty nifty aren't I know? No krespy kreme's for you!

Then the stars don't even matter...

Top: Country Road, Pants: Witchery, Shoes: rmk; Leather Jacket: Kookai, Organza Dress: Clue

Outfit Post:
Here are the two options that I'm tossing up between for next week's Brisbane Mercedes Fashion Festival where I'll be attending the first group show on the Tuesday evening which will be showcasing designs from Marc by Marc Jacobs, See by Chloe and Nicola Finetti. I think I may be leaning towards the dress and leather jacket combination but I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Sorry about the picture quality of my pictures, it's a combination of bad lighting and a phantom photographer!

Tell me what you're thinking!

Ok so here's the deal...

My mum used to -ok still does- say when I was little that I would sell my soul for a lolly (I always thought that I was a much better business woman than that!) , and for the record I did protest this fact, instead arguing that I would sell my little brother. However recently I've begun to think that mum was onto something. Now, I may not agree to selling my soul for a lolly but I certainly would for these Marni wedges (and I'd even throw in my brother as a bonus)!

Long Rings are just my Thing...

The other day when I found my Amazing diamonte hair bobbins, I also begun to notice a couple of trends that I know are going to be big for summer with regards to jewellery. Now anyone who knows me well, knows that I am not a big jewelery person, so for me to be excited about a piece of jewellery means that it has got to be bordering on insanely cool. This is why I think that these cool as cucumber rings, are going to be the frosting on every audacious girl around, come this summer. So I guess that means you can probably count me in then can't you! These long but simple metal rings have started popping up everywhere yet fortunately have not gone mainstream yet, which means that I can be one of the first to be seen in the glamorous metals. But if you're still not convinced of their powers of amazement then just picture Mk Olsen or Erin Wasoon because these are the It girls that have been and will be wearing them in the future. You can find these rings at both diva and American chain store, Forever 21.Photo: Childhood Flames

American Apparel is here for Australia.

Guess what I noticed yesterday whilst breezing through MYER? American Apparel is now being sold in store!!!!!! Am I excited? No. I'm freaking hallucinating with delirious desire! Ok, so maybe that's a little bit of exaggeration, but I definitely am planning on buying up all of their great basic t-shirts but I won't bother with the jumpers since winters almost over!! I especially can't wait to get this great blue shirt and despite loving the whole lame leggings thing, and them only being sold by AA at the moment, I'll definitely have to pass due to their $80 price tag....grrrrr.

Roses are red...

The 90's Baby likes her Diamontes, in her Hair.

This morning I had a trip down to my local Diva and after a couple of minutes of browsing I came across these childhood memory inducing hair bobbins! I couldn't believe my luck spotting these adorable hair diamontes that you swirl into place, and of course I had to buy them right away (at only $12.95)! Not only are they perfect to try out this season's Sass and Bide Vie braided hair style that featured in their debut show at this year's Australian Fashion Festival but they're also so similar to ones that I had when I was about 5yrs old which was just such a fun time!!!

Do you guys remember these suckers from the 90's, or was it just my childhood that was engulfed by sparkles and diamontes?

Miranda Kerr's High School Photos....say what?

Here they are as promised for SAA's 100th post!!! Photo's from the 2000 All Hallows school year book. Where Miranda Kerr was just 17 years old she had already starred on the front cover of Dolly magazine as a cute 13yr old. Her high school photos show that even back then she was flashing those dimples that have come to be recognized, along with 'the wink', as her trademark symbols!

The Big Fashion September!

Some of you may not know this but September, in relation to all fashion magazines-big and small- is the biggest and most spectacular of all of the years issues. This is because of the change in season which obviously means completely new clothes, completely new trends and completely new ad campaigns lining the insides of our favourite glossies!
So I've chosen a few of the best and another couple just cause they're the BIG ones.

Numero- starring unkown model, Do you know who she is? Cause I can't tell, which upsets me! 6/10 stars

Vanity Fair -starring Carla Bruni-Sarkozy 8/10 stars

Vogue China - starring Raquel Zimmerman 4/10 stars

Vogue UK - starring Karen Elson 5/10 stars (only cause of the funny caption)

W -starring Kate Hudson...der! 5/10 stars (Cause it's a copy of some other cover that I can't remember exactly)

ELLE UK - starring Mary-Kate Olsen 6/10 stars

Flair- starring Vlada Roslyakova 7/10 stars

Harper's Bazaar -starring Uma Thurman 7/10 stars

i-D -starring Jourdan Dunn 9/10 stars (It's beautiful to see these black girls on the covers finally!!! Thank you Alex Wek!!!)

Interview -starring Kate Moss 9/10 stars (As much as I'm over Kate I have got to admit this is innovation! I mean they had to do something good after Marc!)
